The biggest feature of this pedal is, without a doubt, the use of Vibram rubber grip inserts.
Vibram is a long-established sole manufacturer whose products are adopted not only for outdoor and sports gear, but also for many types of shoes.
We know and have personally experienced their high durability and grip strength through the Vibram soles used on BEDROCK SANDALS.
The grip sheet used on the contact area of this pedal is, of course, an original design. The fine grid-like slits cut into the outer blocks of the pedal provide reliable grip even in wet conditions and contribute to effective mud shedding.
Furthermore, not only do the rubber grip sheets provide traction, but the studs built into the pedal body itself also play a role in increasing grip, meaning they will provide sufficient hold for any riding that isn’t too extreme.
Since they aren't metal studs, a nice bonus is that they are gentle on your shoe soles.
Personally, I look at these pedals and imagine them like high-tech Nike sneakers.
While we have only stocked them in Camouflage and Black at Circles for now, the lineup also includes colors like Red and Lime, and it’s interesting that you can swap out the grip sheets as long as you have the base body.
This somewhat unusual-looking pedal is recommended not just for trail riding, but also for daily use. Why not install a set on a bike you want to keep a little more laid-back?
