The photos are from this year's NAHBS, which is still fresh in our memories. This is the Hunter Cycles booth.
This High Plains Drifter (FAT ver) is an adventure bike built for Scott of the well-known Porcelain Rocket. The custom-made frame bag is also pretty rad.
And this is the model named the Super Scrambler.
I was blown away by the wild paint job and the distinctive component selection.
Flanked by those two bikes with such strong character, there was another bike on display.
It's a serious racer-style cyclocross bike featuring a carbon seat tube.
Believe it or not, this show bike has just arrived at Circles!
Hunter Cycles “CX Racer Style with Carbon Seattube Complete Bike” ¥588,000
This is a bike ready for racing right out of the box. As you’d expect from a show bike, the assembly is flawless.
We do accept custom orders, of course, but since the current lead time is two years, if the size fits you, you’ve just gotta go for it.
The CX Racer with the carbon seat tube has long been ridden by the FreshAir/Hunter Cycles CX Team riders, so its potential has already been proven in the field. With its Pressfit 30 BB, it’s truly a bike for right now. This was a model I’d been personally very interested in, and seeing it in person—it was incredible. (I wish it was a slightly smaller size...) It seems the Japanese champion will also be riding something interesting this year. See below for details.
