I’ve received a request for a custom build that’s absolutely electrifying, so let me introduce it to you!

This is a GT Team Avalanche with a CRUST BIKES Clydesdale Cargo Fork installed. It’s a GT bike from the early 90s, built before I was even born, but even after more than 30 years, the atmosphere that a top-grade bike carries is truly in a league of its own. The paint and the logos are just cool.

Originally, the owner brought this bike in for an overhaul while keeping the stock fork. This time, to make it more useful for daily use, we reincarnated it into a cargo bike using the Crust Clydesdale Cargo Fork.
CRUST is often noticed for its eccentric style, but the background of building bikes by mixing in old parts that might be sleeping in a junk box shows a real respect for past products and an understanding that they still have perfectly usable functionality today—something we truly resonate with.
I think this cargo fork is a fantastic product that lets you reincarnate old frames to make them usable once again.
Hub dynamos, lock holders, and double-leg stands to solve everyday problems

"Oh no, I'm running out of battery..."—that’s one of the classic stresses of modern life.
To say goodbye to the daily worry of battery levels, we equipped it with a dynamo hub and lights.
This is also a little bit of "off-grid." You're generating electricity—something indispensable in the modern world—with your own power. You could even expand its use beyond just lights.

Components that were still usable were left as is. We played with some color while replacing consumables like cables. For the inner wire end caps, we added a touch of FORAGER CYCLES Cable Cherries. This is another item that can be reused and enjoyed for a long time.

For everyday riding, an anti-theft lock is also essential.
Here’s a useful life hack: if you attach RAL Pack It Right Straps to the sides of the basket—which can often become dead space—you can use them as a simple U-lock holder. Definitely give it a try.

If there’s a hidden essential when converting to a cargo fork, it’s a double-leg stand.
Even if you carry heavy cargo, you won't have to worry about the stand bending, and the bike won't tip over when parked. It’s a feature you’ll definitely want to add for stable cargo bike operation.
Speaking of sturdy double-leg stands, the ESGE BY PLETSCHER Twin Leg Stand is back in stock.
Let's wake up your sleeping frame and turn it into a cargo bike!
It’s not just about pursuing a style; a cargo bike will become your reliable partner for daily transportation and hauling. Because we only had limited stock before, we restricted sales to in-store only, but we have resumed sales via our web shop. Take this chance to check it out!
Actually, the Circles shop bike has also been converted with a cargo fork

We use this Electra cruiser heavily for hauling small items around Circles. By installing the cargo fork, we can carry luggage at a lower position, which lowers the center of gravity and increases stability.
The GT Avalanche introduced earlier is a special bike, but you don't need such a treasure. If you have a frame you're wondering about, please feel free to consult with us. At Circles, we’ve converted various bikes to cargo, so I’m sure we can help you out. Costs vary depending on the frame, so please start by inquiring via our form.
