It served as a daily commuter, and on weekends, it even tackled long rides and gravel paths.
For the customer, it was their first drop-bar road bike, appealing because it could fit wider tires.
It wasn’t too serious, but it pushed them to get serious.
From here, thanks to this bike, they fell in love with cycling and leveled up to their next machine.
Before they knew it, the customer had fewer opportunities to ride their Mr.PINK.
They even considered letting it go. But this was a cherished partner that showed them new scenery and introduced them to new people as their first road bike.
They wanted to find a way to ride it properly once again.
We are here to answer the needs of customers like that.
A partner revived through an overhaul, fresh paint, and a few swapped parts
We polished every part until they shone during the overhaul, and swapped the handlebar for the golden combination of SimWorks by NITTO GETARROUND and a SimWorks by NITTO TomBoyStem, while assembling the brake levers and shifters with Shimano components.
Since it was originally equipped with a Shimano 10-speed rear derailleur and front derailleur, using Shimano 10-speed flat-bar shifters allows for a custom flat-bar setup with the same precision and functionality as STI (Shimano's brake/shift levers for drop bars).
The frame was finished in a matte Bitter Brown powder coat by Kyutai Paint, creating a mature, timeless aesthetic.
This is the revived ALL-CITY "Good Shape Bar" Mr.PINK. I have a feeling it would be even better for urban use if we added fenders, a front carrier, and a basket.
It has become a bike that lets you zip through the city effortlessly and comfortably without any fuss.
Recently, we’ve been receiving more requests for flat-bar conversions, starting with track bikes and continuing to cyclocross and road bikes.
