The owner of this bike had the opportunity to visit Rick Hunter in person to place the order. We kept them waiting for a long time, but I still remember the smile on their face when they first straddled the finished bike.

Yes, once you ride a bike made by Rick, you get this feeling that your heart has been firmly captured. It’s a very strange sensation, but the bike speaks to the rider so comfortably. It tells you to go further, to go beyond.

The owner originally enjoyed rides connecting various scattered single-tracks using paved roads, and also enjoyed cyclocross in the winter. This bike was ordered with the primary goal of going even further and broadening their world.

The saddle is a Selle Anatomica, a favorite among long-distance cyclists.

And the tires are WTB's Nano Race 700x40c. Paved roads or unpaved paths—it doesn't matter. Once you start pedaling, every stroke creates the road.
