A question for you: can you ride an unpaved road on any bike?
For example, there are some people who could pull it off on a road bike with 700x25c tires.
Adaptability is a wonderful human trait, but it is also part of our wisdom to create the right tools and use them effectively to make it possible to keep riding on endless dirt, to ride fast, or simply to enjoy the ride—and it’s a fact that there is nothing as interesting as creating something new from that.

Tony and Ira from Breadwinner Cycles, who recently rode the Rapha Prestige held in Oregon, are tough cyclists who have even ridden the Rapha Continental rides in the past; they are the type of riders who would dive into gravel on 25c tires if they had to. By the way, for that event, Ira fitted his own Continental with SimWorks' voluminous 700x32c tires to complete the ride. Even so, it might be perfectly natural that, based on their experiences, they would want to build an even better tool for fun.

Among their bikes, the B-Road is highly versatile and maneuverable on various road surfaces, but a new model has been added to the lineup to make unpaved rides even more enjoyable.
Its name is the G-Road.
It made its debut at this Prestige and last weekend’s Grinduro in California, where Tony himself was riding it and enjoying the experience.

Capable of clearing 27.5x2.1″ tires, this bike is built to take you anywhere the road, dirt, or even the singletrack beyond may lead. It features an original fork by Portland master builder Ahearne and comes with a special paint job.
By utilizing the rigidity of a steel fork and opting for a sloping top tube despite the use of a standard head tube, the bike is designed for easy handling specialized for dirt riding. It has a classic look, but it is, in fact, a modern gravel bike.
