The Circles and “Sākuruzu” T-shirts are ready.

“I could really go for some watermelon and shaved ice!” everyone said, so we all went for a ride on one of our days off.

There’s an incredible river in Gifu Prefecture called the Itadori River, so we decided to ride along its banks and take a break by the river.

John showed up with a huge watermelon, saying, “My family sent this from back home!”

And as its owner, he claimed the privilege of eating half of it himself.

Asai-chan came along saying, “My water bottle keeps things ice-cold, so I’ll bring ice and we can make shaved ice!”

Actually, he ended up eating almost all of it himself.

Everyone spent the break doing their own thing, but we also took the opportunity to shoot some photos together since we had new products to show off. (You may have already noticed...)

Circles Logo T Shirts

A super simple Circles T-shirt with our classic logo front and center.

We had them made using T-shirt blanks from Baycrew’s, who we work with at our Tokyo shop! (John is 170 cm tall and wearing size L.)

Takumi is 177 cm tall and wearing size XL. Given his height and build, size L would be a closer fit, but the shirt has a roomy width and slightly shorter length, creating the classic boxy silhouette. It has a comfortably relaxed fit, so it looks great worn oversized, too.

Daisaku is 170 cm tall and wearing size L.

Heather gray is also available, in addition to the colors shown here.

In fact, this T-shirt is made from US cotton with a dry feel and also features sweat-stain protection, making it perfect to wear after a ride.

Circles KATAKANA Logo T Shirts

We also made a T-shirt featuring our logo in katakana.

It says “Circles, a wonderful bicycle shop, founded in Heisei 18 (2006).”

If you’ve ever bought something from the Circles online store, you might recognize this design—it occasionally turns up as a bonus sticker included with your order. (Asai-chan is 177 cm tall, weighs 105 kg, and is wearing size XL.)

Daa-chan is 153 cm tall and wearing size M.

Honestly, I wasn’t sure how it would turn out, but once we saw the finished shirts, I was surprised by how well it worked. Actually, it looks really good!
