Cielo 2014

At the recent NAHBS 2014, the 2014 Cielo lineup was officially announced.
Following this, Circles is now accepting orders.

Driven by a strong determination to keep production in-house as much as possible, they focus not only on challenging themselves with new models but also on refining existing ones. By selecting small parts and tubing for each specific application, much like a chef would, they assemble bikes that, while classic in appearance, possess a very modern ride quality.

First, in addition to the standard models, there is the newly announced “Road Racer.”
This steel pure race bike features a compact frame geometry and stays on-trend with a 44mm head tube and an Enve fork with a 1 1/8" to 1.25" tapered steerer. It can be ordered with electronic drivetrain compatibility (seatpost-integrated battery only), and although the release date is TBD, a disc-brake-equipped “Road Racer Disc” is also planned.

Also announced as this year’s limited edition is the “Turquoise Edition,” which features a Cognac frame color with a Turquoise headset included as standard.
It can be ordered for four models: Sportif Racer, Sportif Classic, Cross Classic, and Mountain Bike. Only by ordering this frame can you also purchase matching Turquoise hubs and bottom brackets. This will likely be your final chance to get your hands on these Turquoise parts.

Ruby has been added to the Classic Color Option, which applies to the Sportif Racer, Sportif Classic, Cross Classic, and Mountain Bike. True to its name, this deep, jewel-like color is sure to become a popular new staple.

For the Road Racer, Cross Racer, and Cross Racer Disc, you can select from six colors in the Racer Color Option.

In other news, an original stem has been added to the lineup.

Crafted using the skilled techniques of the Cielo build team, these chromoly stems can be color-matched to your frame, while the faceplates can be chosen from the traditional anodized colors used on Chris King components. Both the Racer and Classic models feature a 31.8mm bar clamp and a 1-1/8" steerer clamp, with an attractive range of precise lengths available: 80, 90, 95, 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, and 130mm.
