CHRIS KING has teamed up with Bend, Oregon-based thru-axle specialists The Robert Axle Project to re-release the long-awaited "King Thru Axle."
You might be wondering, "Re-release?" Chris King and The Robert Axle Project originally began their partnership in 2019 and had planned a full-scale launch for these thru-axles, but supply was temporarily interrupted shortly after due to the pandemic. Now, however, they have strengthened their collaboration with The Robert Axle Project, enabling a stable supply of these high-quality products.
The King Thru Axle features a stylish design inspired by Chris King’s iconic headset caps, perfectly meeting the needs of customers who want to take their bike build to the next level.
Of course, they haven't just focused on looks; quality is paramount. Crafted from aerospace-grade 7075 aluminum, they are designed, manufactured, and quality-tested in the USA, boasting the high durability and precision trusted by cyclists worldwide.
Installation and removal require only a standard 6mm hex key; no special tools are needed.
The initial color lineup includes three options: classic Black, the popular 3D Violet, and Matte Turquoise. The axles are available in 10 common size specifications.
