A merino wool blend long-sleeve cycling jersey is a versatile piece that can be worn with a base layer during seasonal transitions when short sleeves start to feel chilly, like in autumn or spring, or used as a mid-layer under a vest or windbreaker in the current season. We previously discussed its year-round versatility in a blog post introducing the Search and State Merino L/S Jersey. With its heat-retention, moisture-wicking, and antibacterial properties, merino wool has become an essential material for cyclists.
Combining that high functionality with the soft aesthetic unique to wool, the Cafe du Cycliste Arlette Jersey—a long-sleeve jersey perfect for this exact time of year—has just arrived. Released last season, it now returns with the same specifications but in a new range of colors.

Originally positioned as an AUDAX JERSEY, the Arlette is designed for long rides like brevets. To accommodate plenty of supplies, it features a large storage space behind the three back pockets. In addition, it is equipped with pockets on the left arm and abdomen for easy access to snacks and other essentials.

Reflectors are also placed below the back pockets at the seam where the striped sleeve fabric begins, ensuring visibility even after the sun goes down.
The Arlette Jersey is a great choice for upcoming winter rides when it's cold and the days are short. We currently have men's sizes in stock, and the women's version is scheduled to arrive soon, so please stay tuned.
