In this post, I’d like to introduce the Olive Green Preamble that made a quick appearance there.

SURLY Preamble Circles Original Complete Bike

The Preamble means "introduction or precursor," making it the perfect first bike. It is essentially designed for paved roads, so we built it primarily for city riding.

One of the great things about the Preamble is its wide range of sizes.
It accommodates a wide variety of heights from XS (150cm) to XL (190cm), offering great versatility. The size range, which makes it easy for both petite and tall riders to choose, is another appeal of the Preamble.

This one is built in a size S.
The recommended height is roughly 160cm to 170cm!

Tires for a lightweight feel.

We installed the GRANDBOIS Cypres Standard 650×32B.
These are touring tires that are attractive for their classic skin-wall look typical of Grand Bois and their light, smooth rolling.

The Preamble is a highly versatile frame that can handle everything from city commuting to slightly longer excursions.

By pairing it with the 650x32B Cypres tires, the wheels look clean and it transforms into an even more agile city bike.

It allows you to make your daily commute or longer weekend city rides feel lighter and even more comfortable.

Equipped with SHIMANO Cues

For the components, we used SHIMANO CUES!

What's important for city riding isn't just speed, but being able to use it daily without worry. In that regard, Cues excels with its easy-to-use shifting, reliable consumables, and the toughness that is just right for everyday use.

CUES is a component group that fully delivers on that "durability for everyday use."

Actually, it’s a Circles original color.

This Olive Green is an original color painted by our painting service, "Kyutai Paint."

At Kyutai Paint, besides offering multi-color paint schemes and deep finishes, we also have a "powder paint" menu that allows you to change your bike to your favorite color more easily, quickly, and affordably.

SURLY is also a brand that sells its own frame decals. Therefore, by combining this with Kyutai Paint, you can customize your bike in your own preferred color, not limited to just this Olive Green.

While it's great to enjoy the complete bike as is, being able to choose your own style starting with the color is another interesting aspect of SURLY.
