A “rockhound” is a geologist or an amateur collector of mineral specimens. Rock + Hound (a hunting dog, i.e. one who chases!)

Literally it means “someone who chases rocks,” but it carries the nuance of “someone who loves to play and explore in nature” or “someone who enjoys a little adventure.” These sandals were designed for the “little adventures” that are an extension of everyday life.

① Patent pending: the newly developed “Y-Strap Design”

The biggest news is a new mechanism that, in place of a heel strap, lets you adjust the straps that cross over the top of the foot.

The adjuster uses a mud-resistant G-hook.
By keeping adjustment to a single point on the outside, it creates a “connection with your foot” that was unthinkable in conventional flip-flops.

They won't come off in flowing water and won't shift even when you move hard. This patent-pending design is exclusive to the Rockhound.
