【BEDROCK SANDALS】Mountain Clog Adventures – Behind the Scenes of the FW25 Shoot

We want to deliver not just the product, but also the time, place, and atmosphere behind it. So this time, we’d like to share the behind-the-scenes of the FW25 Mountain Clog photoshoot featured on the BEDROCK SANDALS official blog.

The blog showcases the team, wearing Mountain Clogs, playing and shooting throughout the vast nature of Joshua Tree. Just looking at the photos—capturing the moments where the Clog's silhouette stands out amidst the light and shadow as they walk over rocks and scramble across the sand—is enough to get you excited.

It’s a truly captivating story that lets you feel the experiences, the time, and the playfulness of the team. We wanted to share that same atmosphere with all of you in Japan, so we are presenting this article in Japanese.

Please enjoy this look at the Mountain Clog’s adventure.

A Mountain Clogs Favorite Playground

For this year's FW25 photoshoot, we visited Joshua Tree, the ultimate playground for the Mountain Clog.

Thanks to the Vibram® Megagrip rubber and a stable fit that wraps securely around the foot, we fully enjoyed Joshua Tree—scrambling over giant boulders, finding little spots for snacks and naps, and posing the Clog V3 on the unique Monzogranite rocks.

Because of those movements and the nature of the rocky terrain, we were able to capture photos that convey the charm of the Clogs with total ease.

After finishing the desert shoot, we headed to Big Bear in search of Sierra hiking. We happened to encounter a massive amount of pinecones, which, before we knew it, became the name for this color of our Synthetic model.

Before the shoot, we called this new brown color "Walnut," but after we finished, we changed the name to "Pinecone"!

This trip featured Bedrock’s lead photographer Andrew Bydlon, as well as MAK and Owen from Bound For Nowhere (the two holding the reflector in the photo above). They handled everything from organizing the logistics and shot list to managing the reflector, making this outdoor week truly unforgettable.

Being able to capture the outdoor moments we genuinely love—from epic adventures to simple daily excursions—with longtime friends and fellow Bedrock lovers is a joy that is truly second to none.

MAK took the initiative to clean up trash on the trail, practicing "Leave it better than you found it."

One more for good measure

We handed out disposable cameras to our models and crew to capture behind-the-scenes shots from various angles.
Looking back at the photos, it’s clear that film is still alive and well. There is a special charm in taking photos with a disposable camera and waiting patiently for the results, just like a summer camp back in 2001.

Big smiles at the trailhead

We hope you all get to enjoy playing outside as much as we do!
