It has been about 10 years since we started carrying BEDROCK SANDALS at Circles. The current main line, the Cairn series, was released 8 years ago. Since then, "BEDROCK SANDALS for summer" has gradually become a staple. And once the Mountain Clog was released, it became standard to have BEDROCK SANDALS on your feet year-round. (The oldest remaining blog post I wrote myself dates back to 2017.)
Cycling is an outdoor activity, but it’s also a tool to connect things, a means of transportation, and something that enriches daily life. The same goes for BEDROCK SANDALS; they are footwear that excels in various scenes, fitting perfectly not just for climbing and hiking, but also for running, cycling, and everyday life.
That is why my life has basically become all about BEDROCK SANDALS every day.
There are more and more people across the country who have become captivated by the charm of BEDROCK SANDALS, and we have even seen loyal fans at various events like EZO and Village Green Market.
Furthermore, Circles' wholesale division has started handling them, and the number of retail partners carrying them is growing.
Since I was in Fukuoka recently for the BAYCREW’S TRUNK SHOW, I took the opportunity to visit some of the local shops that carry BEDROCK SANDALS.

Both mujina shouten in Itoshima and Tabidogu to Hito HouHou in Kokura, Kitakyushu, are located outside of Fukuoka City, yet they are wonderful shops that draw in mountain-loving people from all over Fukuoka.
Mr. Nakagawa of mujina is a loyal user of the Cairn Evo 3D Pro, while Mr. Watanabe of HouHou uses the Cairn Evo. They both mentioned they use them for everything—from mountains and travel to daily life. Both of them are also mountain-activity experts who participate in the main OMM event.
While our focus naturally tends toward cycling, I am truly happy to see experts in mountain activities embracing BEDROCK. I hope to help more people discover how great they are.
Opportunities to visit our retail partners like this are rare, but it is truly great to go in person, talk, and get a feel for the atmosphere of their shops. I definitely want to visit more places in the future.
