Based in Missoula, Montana, BEDROCK SANDALS was founded in 2011 by two adventurers with a vision to create the ultimate sandals capable of performing in diverse outdoor fields, and with a dream to walk and explore every corner of the earth wearing them.
Starting with the minimalist huarache design created by mountain tribes, their sandals have continued to evolve through repeated field testing and valuable feedback from many users, leading to the creation of the product they aimed for: the Cairn Adventure Sandals.

Strap System: Superior Security Shared Across All Models
The greatest feature of these sandals is the seamless integration between foot and sandal. The three-strap system centered around an O-ring on the instep, combined with the heel strap, holds your feet securely even when they are wet or wearing socks. Furthermore, these straps allow for precise adjustments of your foot position on the sole.
Because you can finely adjust the angle of the toe-post and the position where the O-ring rests on the instep, you can achieve a secure hold while minimizing the stress of constriction on your feet.
Heel Strap Featuring G-Hooks
The Pro II series utilizes G-Hooks on the heel strap. This replaces Velcro, overcoming issues like clogging with mud or coming undone in rushing water, while also providing excellent durability for long-term use.
Outsoles for Diverse Environments
Vibram® Trek Regolith Outsole
Developed in collaboration with Vibram, the Trek Regolith Outsole features deep grooves in a unique pattern. Its mountain-inspired design sheds mud and gravel for high grip, while remaining flexible enough not to hinder your stride.
Pro II Series with Megagrip
Furthermore, the Pro II series uses Vibram® Megagrip to conquer even the most treacherous wet rock and muddy off-road paths, enhancing grip performance through the material itself as well as the tread design. The increased firmness of the sole also reduces the stress on the soles of your feet from rocks and branches, allows for efficient pedaling on a bicycle, and improves durability, meaning less sole wear for a longer lifespan.
Two Footbeds for Ultimate Comfort
Granite Grip Footbed (Flat Shape)
The Granite Grip footbed provides incredible traction in both dry and wet conditions. Featuring a three-directional tread pattern, it keeps your feet comfortable at all times. It is lightweight and offers a more barefoot-like sensation.
Anatomically Molded 3D Footbed
By adding thickness to the footbed compared to the standard Cairn, it provides increased cushioning, and the 3D support for the arch and metatarsal area improves stability. The surface in contact with the sole features a geo-pattern of pentagonal grooves, offering even better grip in both wet and dry conditions. Additionally, improved breathability ensures faster drying, keeping your feet comfortable.
Cairn Geo: Made with Eco-Friendly Materials
Cairn Geo is crafted with materials that are mindful of our planet. The Vibram® EcoStep compound used for the brown sole contains at least 30% recycled rubber, which reduces the need for virgin raw materials and cuts production waste by up to 50%. The soft yet durable straps are made from 100% recycled plastic bottles.
The Cairn Geo is also available in the Cairn 3D Geo model, featuring the same molded 3D footbed found in other series.
