What to wonder about when choosing a bike
When choosing a bike, it’s easy to get a little stuck on the idea of,
“I want a bike that’s easy for city riding, but I also want a bit more than that.”
I want to use it for commuting and shopping.
But on my days off, I want to ride a little further out.
If possible, I’d like to be able to carry some cargo, and I don’t want to worry about riding on the occasional unpaved road.

If I were to describe the Hog’s Back in one word,
it’s a bike that sits somewhere between a touring bike and a rigid MTB.
It’s not a bike for riding fast in a forward-leaning position like a road bike. Then again, it’s not just a heavy, practical utility bike either.
This is the charm of the Hog’s Back.
For people new to sports bikes, skinny tires and handlebars that force a low posture can feel a bit intimidating.
But with the Hog’s Back, your line of sight is high and the tires offer peace of mind, making it easy to ride through the city in a relaxed state.
A wide range of customization
The Hog’s Back looks great with practical parts.
Like this one, if you add a front rack and basket, you can load your commuter bag or shopping groceries right on.
Lights will keep you safe on the ride home after the sun goes down.
Add fenders and you can ride without a care, even on roads after the rain!
Thanks to the chain guard, you don’t have to worry about your clothes getting dirty either.
Depending on the bike, these kinds of parts can sometimes be impossible to install.
