I bought it.
For the first time in two years.
A bicycle.
This one.
2015 Salsa Cycles FARGO 2
It’s only been two days since I started riding it.
I think it’ll take a little more time before we really get in sync, but once we do, I believe this is a bike that can take me down endless trails. Before I head out to overseas trails, I plan to first head to Ride Alive this weekend to check out how it performs off-road.
I feel that the FARGO series is the truest embodiment of what Salsa Cycles stands for: "ADVENTURE BY BIKE."
It has geometry designed specifically for drop bars, despite being an MTB.
It features numerous braze-ons for racks to carry gear, perfect for multi-day camping rides.
And with its swappable dropouts (135mm QR, 142mm Axle), it can accommodate a wide variety of hubs.
I truly believe this isn't just an MTB, but a world-class ATB (All Terrain Bike).
With this bike, I can take on any road without hesitation, and when I’m standing before a prime trailhead, I can take it on without a second thought. It's a bike that makes endless challenges possible, depending entirely on me.
Am I hyping it up too much? (lol)
But I feel like if I'm not this enamored with it, I won't be able to head out into the world.
