【New Arrival】The long-awaited 20-inch model is here! / Panaracer – Gravel King X1 20

Small-wheel bikes are a category we handle often at our shop, and the market for them has been heating up lately.

Beyond just the nimbleness of city riding, more and more people are expanding their horizons to include camping and touring.

And now, the long-awaited tire for these small-wheel enthusiasts has finally arrived!

Panaracer / Gravel King X1 20

The 20-inch (406) size has joined the lineup of the "X1," the latest model in Panaracer's acclaimed Gravel King series.

PANARACER Gravel King X1 20“

Size : 20×2.1″
Color : Black / Black , Black / Amber

Price : 6,600 yen (tax included)

The distinctive center tread design generates low rolling resistance, while the side knobs provide high grip and off-road capability.

It allows you to put the agile handling, acceleration, and responsiveness unique to small-wheel bikes to good use even on rough terrain!

Compatible Models

kyootbikes, BIKEFRIDAY, CRUST BIKES Cargo Fork, etc.

The tire size is 20 (406) × 2.1.

Among the bikes handled by Circles, it fits small-wheel models like the BIKE FRIDAY ALL-PACKA, New World Tourist, and Diamond Llama, as well as the KYOOT BIKES Rolly Polly and VELO ORANGE Neutrino. You can also use them as front tires for cargo bikes like the CRUST BIKES Clydesdale Cargo Fork, OMNIUM, or MONoPOLE!

What I found personally super exciting is that even if you have a cargo bike with different wheel sizes front and rear, you can now match the tire models. (You can match them if your rear tire is 650B or 700C and you choose the Black/Black colorway.)

It's no exaggeration to say that, until now, there really hasn't been a lightweight tire that could pull this off. It's something I've been searching for, and finally...!

So, I installed them on my own Polyvalent!

Yeah... I'm satisfied!

There’s just something beautiful about the sense of unity you get when your tires match!

Contrary to how they might look, they roll surprisingly fast.

I’m running them with tubes for now, but they are tubeless-ready, so I highly recommend them for cargo bikes designed for hauling—both to reduce puncture risk and to improve ride quality.

As an option for lightweight small-wheel tires, and for all you cargo bike users who have been looking for "the same lightweight tire model for front and rear"—definitely come check them out at the shop!
