【TARP to TARP to CAMP vol.10】Update: Regarding the Ride Route

Hello everyone!
Yosshi here!

I’m writing to report on the ride event to be held at TARP to TARP that I mentioned the other day. I was able to go for a preview run, and I’m happy to say we’ve mapped out a route that lets you experience the kind of cycling Circles proposes while taking in views of Mt. Fuji.

The route is about 10km round-trip from FUJI TOMATO FIELD, the venue for TARP to TARP, to the Asagiri Kogen Roadside Station. Along the way, we’ve included some side detours that will allow you to get a feel for both rough asphalt and gravel roads!

The highlight of this ride is, without a doubt, the incredible setting of cycling through the breathtaking Asagiri Highlands. Being able to fully experience Asagiri Kogen with all five senses—the scent of the barns, the sounds of the local flora and fauna, and the feeling of the breeze—is a unique experience only possible on a quiet vehicle like a bicycle.

At our turnaround point, the Asagiri Kogen Roadside Station, we plan to take a short break to enjoy some baked goods from Nagoya’s PINE FIELDS MARKET while watching Mt. Fuji illuminated by the morning sun.

For helmets, which are essential for this ride, we’ve received support from POC. I personally love their helmets for their incredible lightness and ventilation; they provide top-tier protection and performance through patented materials and structural designs. We will have a limited number available for rent for those who would like one.

Furthermore, for sunglasses—another must-have item—we are being supported by OWL MILS, who are also participating in TARP to TARP. I use these myself, and their proprietary MILS LENS features polarization to suppress glare and high-contrast technology that cuts out excess light for a clearer view. They will show you scenery even more beautiful than what you see with the naked eye during the ride.

We are preparing for an amazing ride with the help of all these wonderful partners. We hope you’ll join us!

Reservations for rides using our demo bikes will be taken on the day of the event, but if you are bringing your own bicycle, please send a DM (direct message) to the Circles Tokyo Instagram to reserve your spot.
