[Tadequi POP UP] Tomei POP UP TOUR Vol.3 Nagoya Edition

The Tomei POP UP TOUR Vol.3 / Tade Qui POP UP, which was held recently at Circles Tokyo, is finally coming to Nagoya this weekend!

After the announcement of the Tokyo event, many of you likely saw the posts featuring various special items, all of which looked very intriguing. Perhaps because of that, many of the items ended up with low stock.

However! The creator, Mr. Hosokawa, has been busy working without sparing time for sleep since then, and he has prepared the largest number of items ever for this Nagoya event!

Boy, am I looking forward to it!!!

We will also be debuting items using the new Teijin Frontier techonoforce® steel. These come in black only!

Make sure to stop by Circles on Saturday, August 10th and Sunday, August 11th. Mr. Hosokawa himself will be at the shop, so it’s one of the few chances you'll have to hear about the products in detail!

By the way, Mr. Hosokawa is a cyclist through and through, and he used to spend all his time riding mountain passes. He told me that when he would go for a time attack, he would remove all his accessories and carry-ons to be as light as possible. (You might even get to hear stories like that too...)

Mr. Hosokawa took me out for a ride during my business trip to Tokyo in July. He suggested several routes, but since I really wanted to ride some mountain passes, I chose a route connecting Shiraishi Pass and Sadamine Pass. This is Mr. Hosokawa’s home course, one he has ridden countless times.

It was early July before the rainy season had ended, and the weather was perfectly clear—for better or worse. It was a hot day with high humidity. We started late, around 10:30 AM, so it was a battle against the heat the whole time. In the midst of that, the view from the Do-daira Observatory beyond Shiraishi Pass and the cold hiyajiru udon I had for lunch were both amazing rewards. The hydrangeas on the way up Sadamine Pass were beautiful, too.

This might be a familiar route for people in the area, but for me, it was completely fresh. I’d love to ride it again when the seasons change, and I’m interested in checking out the various other passes in the vicinity as well.

In any case, Mr. Hosokawa took care of me for the whole day.

Thank you, as always!
And I look forward to the next time!

So, be sure to come to the Tomei POP UP TOUR Vol.3 / Tade Qui POP UP this weekend!
