We decided to challenge ourselves with new fields—lands we have yet to discover—by hosting RIDEALIVE 2017 four times this year. The first event, "BIKE TO HIKE, AND BIKE," held in Mie this past April, was blessed with perfect weather, making the two days spent with over 20 participants a huge success.

Now, for our second event, we are heading to Shizuoka on July 22nd and 23rd.
Within Shizuoka, our field this time will be Hamamatsu. When cyclists think of Hamamatsu, the first thing that comes to mind might be the loop around Lake Hamana, commonly known as "Hama-ichi." Of course, there is much more to it than just that, and we believe these two days will allow you to experience the charms of Hamamatsu through cycling.
Why not join GREEN COG and RAL in searching for a Hamamatsu we have yet to discover?

This Shizuoka edition is a proposal for a new way to enjoy summer in Shizuoka, brought to you by Yuichiro Yamamoto of GREEN COG, a Hamamatsu-based bike shop, alongside Hibiki Kamo of CIRCLES and Keita Ohira of EARLYBIRDS.
We want to discover the charms of this land—a place overflowing with nature from the sea to the mountains and lakes, offering endless ways to play—together with our ambassador and Hamamatsu native, Yuichiro Yamamoto of GREEN COG. Additionally, the bike shop "HAPPY SLAPPY," which just opened this past April, is providing full support to ensure this will be an even more exciting event.
Among the four RIDEALIVE 2017 events, this one will be the most laid-back, making it perfect even for those new to camp riding. We will finish the first day at Talicana, a campsite that just opened this year in the former Murakushi village along the shore of Lake Hamana. Participants can enjoy routes recommended by our ambassadors, riding at their own pace until they reach the finish. At the campsite, everyone will enjoy a meal prepared by the EARLYBIRDS staff. Then, let's spend a relaxing summer night by the sea and sleep in our tents.

On the second day, after trying our hand at a hot sandwich breakfast (a favorite in the GREEN COG circle), we will ride by connecting the dots on a checkpoint map packed with the best of Hamamatsu. We'll head toward our final goal, naru Soba, while creating our own unique Hamamatsu routes. We have rented out this unique soba shop, which stands out even in Hamamatsu, for a special, one-of-a-kind dining experience.

Further details are available here. If you are interested in joining, please make sure to sign up. Registration opens at 7:00 PM on Sunday, June 4th.
We hope that after this special two-day summer vacation, you will see Hamamatsu in a new light and grow to love it even more.
So, let's enjoy an unforgettable two days in the heart of summer at a beautiful waterfront location!
