Last summer, we held the first-ever Circles Presents “RIDEALIVE Camp & Ride”.
Between us, it all started from a simple whim: "Let's enjoy our summer vacation with some camping and touring!" and grew into, "Well, then let's get everyone together and have some fun!" The desire to enjoy the adventure of a ride together is no different from that childhood sense of adventure when you first decided to ride your bike to the next town over—it really is a field trip for grown-ups.
With the theme of how to best enjoy the simple act of riding and camping, everyone will aim for the goal from their own starting point. In other words, it’s up to you to plan your route, pack the gear you need for two days of camp-riding, and decide how you want to play. Rather than having things handed to you, why not use your own imagination and sense of play to enjoy this summer with us?
The stage for this year’s RIDEALIVE is the same Mikawa region as last year.
This area, fresh in our memories from the recently held Gourmet Century Ride, still holds so many things we have yet to discover.
On the first day, we’ll all head to "Mikawa Kogen Camp Village" and share a toast together!
Dinner will feature curry from "SundaySpice," wild game dishes from "Engiya," and delicious coffee served by "Kissa Hiraya." We’ll also, of course, enjoy camp staples like a campfire and acoustic live music.
The second day will be a little different from last year. Let’s wake up earlier than usual and prepare our own breakfast in our own style. "Ride to Cook" is one way to play. The meals we eat outdoors, reflecting on the roads we worked so hard to ride the day before, are sure to be delicious. And after that, it’s all about having fun. No matter what anyone says, we’re going to play. Mountain biking, trail running, fishing, sea kayaking, cooking. Of course, it’s fun to go all-out on your bike, but it’s also fun to have the bike as the focal point and branch out into various activities from there. That is exactly what we consider "RIDEALIVE" to be.
Masters of play from various fields will be joining us for each activity. Stay tuned.
For the finale, we’ll cap off our summer while gazing at the sea at "cafe Ocean" in Hazu. Let’s make this summer the best one yet, together.

While we are holding this at the same location as last year, to make it even more fun than before, your "let's have fun!" attitude is more important than anything else. We staff are ready to play as hard as we can. It’s easy to just go along with what’s planned for you. Please bring your pedal power, your imagination, and your sense of play to the max, and let’s go have some fun!
Registration starts next Tuesday, 7/14 at noon.
