Our pastimes, known as RIDEALIVE, which we have been hosting for the past three years under the theme of "Circles Summer Vacation," are now moving to the next level.
Based on the fusion of riding and camping, we have treated cycling as a lifestyle and expanded our focus to include various outdoor activities. Having held RIDEALIVE here in Aichi, we are now ready to expand our field further. Being the greedy people we are, we are excited to announce that we will be holding it three times a year, plus more!

Vol.1 – Mie / Bike To Hike, and Bike
・Ride a bike.
・Climb a mountain.
I'm sure many of you have experienced each of these individually.
But have you ever tried mixing them together? I suspect not many of you have.
For our first event, Vol.1 in Mie, titled Bike To Hike, and Bike, our guide for the Suzuka area, Kyohei Nakamura (ADAPT – Suzuka Mountain Range Project), and I, Shige (Circles)—a duo both born in 1987—will guide you through the nature-rich area surrounding the Suzuka Mountain Range.
This is a 2-day, 1-night trip that starts in an old post town, climbs Mt. Ryu-ga-take (known for its history of praying for rain to the dragon god), and heads toward the northernmost town in Mie Prefecture.
We've had opportunities to play together, like going on rides or teaming up for OMM BIKE. But the main theme of this trip is to break down the boundaries between our "ways of playing"—him as a mountain enthusiast and me as a cyclist—and just have fun together. I hope this becomes an opportunity for you to enjoy the combined activities of cycling, camping, and hiking, and expand your own range of fun.
Registration starts on 3/4 (Saturday) at 12:00 PM on the RIDEALIVE Special Site.
This Friday, 3/3, at Hedgehog Diner, we will be holding a RAL Mie Briefing Session to present this year's RIDEALIVE plans and provide more details about Vol.1 in Mie. If you’re at all curious, please come by on Friday night for dinner and to hang out!
