It’s slower progress than by bicycle, but the best part is that you can go places a bike can’t. I took it one step at a time, being careful of the muddy footing. The summit was cloudy and I couldn’t get a good view, but facing nature while clearing my head and listening to the sound of the wind, the mountain stream, and my own breathing was time well spent.
Even if you don't push yourself to ride on a rainy day, it’s not so bad to move your body and immerse yourself in nature like this—that’s what I thought during this hike.
Of course, because a bicycle moves faster than walking, the scenery you see is different and your range of action expands, so I hope you make good use of it. After all, a bicycle is a fun tool no matter where you go.
During the humid season, whether riding or hiking, whenever I find a water source, I want to jump right in or cool off in the water. The RAL BY DEEPER’S WEAR / Fast Pass Short are the kind of clothes I want to wear when heading out for exactly that reason. Being quick-drying is a feature that's hard to beat.
Summer is almost in full swing, and I want to stay active and have fun without letting the heat get to me.
Oh, and one more thing: our close allies over at ALL YOURS are continuing their 24-month consecutive crowdfunding, and their new project has a different twist from their previous ones, so please take a look. Both bicycles and clothes are tools that enrich our lives. They are the ones who are facing that fact head-on and making clothes in this day and age. Let’s all become "accomplices" and support them!!
