Back in the day, a bicycle orienteering event called NUTS! was held every month in Nagoya.
Whether it was in the heat of summer or under the cold winter sky, we worked hard to put on this event every month. It was a very simple activity where you would cycle around to different checkpoints and solve problems, and every month, many cyclists would join us. "Consistency is key"—that is exactly what this was. Interesting people would gather, and we would all pedal with everything we had, laugh together, and sometimes even cry. Looking back, it was a place where we met many of the people who support Circles today, and when I look through old photos, I see so many nostalgic memories. Yes, it is an event that is inseparable from looking back on the 10 years of Circles.
With our Circles 10th Anniversary Festival coming up next weekend, we are all busy with preparations while the year-end rush begins, but we are doing everything we can to ensure we spend a fun time with all of you!
While hoping many of you will attend, we thought about what kind of time we want to spend with you on this commemorative day, and we concluded that the best thing is for everyone to get together and have fun riding bikes. To look back on the last 10 years, we are returning to our roots. In addition to the ride on the day of the anniversary festival, we are also announcing an eve-of-the-festival Alleycat race.

-NUTS! will come back!?-

Kamo-chan and the rest of our younger staff are putting a lot of thought into the preparations. We hope those who used to come to NUTS! and our veteran mentors will show everyone how to have a good time. And for those who don't know NUTS!, please feel free to join us!
As for the rides on the day of the anniversary festival, we have prepared two courses: the Picnic Ride presented by Jus & Taka, and the CRC Ride presented by Shige & Nabetaku!
・10th Anniversary Picnic Ride
Date: Saturday, December 3rd, Meet at 9:00 AM
Meeting Point: Circles
A leisurely cruise from Circles to Shonai Ryokuchi Park in Nishi Ward. It’s a casual ride where anything from city bikes to cargo bikes is welcome. We would like to have a potluck party where each participant brings a little something to eat. Jus's homemade curry, a.k.a. Jusspice, will also be served!
・10th Anniversary CRC Ride
Date: Saturday, December 3rd, Meet at 9:00 AM
Meeting Point: FamilyMart in front of Meitetsu Owari-Seto Station
This is a Seto ride attended by Nabetaku and Shige, who organize the familiar CRC rides. They will guide a route that is mainly road but also includes some unpaved paths. If you have time to spare, you can even ride from Seto to Shonai Ryokuchi Park after the ride to join the Picnic Ride!
We will be back at Circles around the evening, so you can go soak in a bath at Urban Quua, or head home and dress up for the party that starts at 19:00.
Anyway, we want to spend a fun day with all of you. We look forward to having you join us, so please invite your friends!
