Information on Golden Week business hours and an invitation to a ride event.

It’s getting much warmer, and there are many more days now where you can comfortably get by in short sleeves. I imagine many of you will be starting your holidays this Friday. We’ve been hearing lots of stories from people planning to head out for a ride, or families planning to go camping, and so on. If you realize you’ve forgotten to pick up anything you need for your rides or camping trips, please come by Circles! We will be open throughout Golden Week according to our regular calendar!

GW

Please note that our weekday hours are 10:00–20:00, and on Sundays and holidays, we are open from 12:00–19:00.

Also, we have plenty of events lined up during the holidays!

RAL COMMUNE
4/27 (Wed) 19:00– at Circles & Earlybirds Breakfast

RAL COMMUNE is tomorrow night.
We’ll be welcoming Mr. Komine and Mr. Chiyoda from Nomadics for an OMMBIKE BRIEFING SESSION. We’ve got a packed schedule waiting for you, including a pre-order event for Porcelain Rocket frame bags, running alleys, and standing drinks at Earlybirds.

Closing Party for “Welldone Exhibition Vol.2”
4/29 (Fri/Showa Day) 18:00– at Mitts Coffee Stand

On the 29th, we’re holding the closing party for Welldone Exhibition Vol.2 at Mitts Coffee Stand starting at 18:00. The beer bike from HedgeHogDiner will also be making an appearance, so we hope you’ll all come out to join us.

FIX LIKE COOK
4/30 (Saturday) 14:00– at Culture Club Nagoya

On the 30th, we’re holding a punk repair workshop for women presented by the girls of Nagoya at Culture Club. If you’re a woman planning to go for a ride over the holidays but are worried about getting a flat, why not use this opportunity to join us? After the workshop, you can also enjoy coffee and snacks at Pine Fields Market.

PFM Pizza Party Night
5/4 (Wednesday) 18:30–22:00 at Pine Fields Market

The first-ever night opening for PFM.

They’ll be serving up pizzas that draw on the staff’s experience working at a bakery! For the vegetable toppings, they’ll be using plenty of eggplants from Mr. Tange and tomatoes from Mr. Ishihara—people we got to know through PORTLAND LIVING—and we’ll also be selling fresh eggplants and tomatoes directly on the day of the event!

For drinks, we’ll have craft beer from Y.MARKET BREWING and wine served from the beer bike.

Admission: 1,500 yen per person (includes 1 drink) and free pizza. You can also purchase chilled desserts and snacks with cash-on-delivery.

CRC Rides

Since it’s a holiday, the CRC members and Nabetaku have organized some rides so we can enjoy cycling with all of you. The CRC Morning Ride, familiar to many (?) as “#7:30 Depart from FamilyMart at Owari-Seto Station,” is back! Nabetaku is raring to go, partly as a way to make up for the ride that was canceled due to rain the other day! He’s planned several rides so he can join up with various people over the holidays.

4/29 (Fri/Showa Day) AM 7:30 Meet at FamilyMart at Owari-Seto Station (Meitetsu Seto Line), Relaxed Spring Water Course

5/1 (Sun) AM 7:30 Meet at FamilyMart at Owari-Seto Station (Meitetsu Seto Line), Mikuni Loop

5/3 (Tue/Constitution Memorial Day) AM 7:30 Meet at FamilyMart at Owari-Seto Station (Meitetsu Seto Line), Mikuni Loop

5/4 (Wed/Greenery Day) AM 7:30 Meet at FamilyMart at Owari-Seto Station (Meitetsu Seto Line), Mikuni Loop (Reverse Direction)

Those with time can branch off halfway and extend the ride from the summit of Mikuni if you’d like.

Going forward, we’ll be creating lighter routes to make it easier for female riders to join, so please keep looking out for the “#7:30 Depart from FamilyMart at Owari-Seto Station” CRC Morning Ride!

And as for the final day of Golden Week—Thursday—as mentioned, the shop will be closed, but since it’s a holiday, it’s also a perfect, rare chance to ride with our customers!

5/5 (Thu/Children’s Day) AM 9:00 Meet at FamilyMart at Owari-Seto Station (Meitetsu Seto Line), Intensive Ride

So, we’ll meet at 9:00 AM at the FamilyMart at Owari-Seto Station (Meitetsu Seto Line) for an intensive day-long ride.
Along with Shige, Yanac, and Nabetaku, who knows—maybe that person will come ride too? Of course, joining or leaving partway through is fine. Why not come for a ride with us?

We look forward to seeing everyone over the holidays!
