Lately, after wrapping up work, I've been hitting the pedals night after night, thinking "Alright, time for a little run today." But Mr. Kimura finally called me out on it, asking, "Why ride at night? Isn't it more pleasant during the day?"
So, the other day, I organized a ride for the first time in a while—a morning ride! We brought along leftover mochi from the New Year's holidays and held a delightfully indulgent ride where we gathered around a pot of shiruko in the park on a weekend morning!
We had a laid-back ride, stopping by a supermarket to pick up snacks and appetizers, and then headed to Peace Park. It's the park we always use for GURUREN, and the best part is that you're allowed to use fire there. There were a few people day-camping and a few kids practicing riding their bikes.
Apparently, boiling and then browning sausages is the way to go...
Even for a short ride, having outdoor gear like a pot or a stove really opens up the fun. I'm quite the expert on this topic, so if you're interested, please come visit us on the 2nd floor!♪
