We're doing it again this year! Circles Mobile Photo Studio at Mori, Michi, Ichiba.

Golden Week has ended, and just as you might think the events are winding down, the winds of that big festival have started blowing through Aichi Prefecture. That’s right, it’s "Mori, Michi, Ichiba".

We are hosting the "Circles Pop-up Photo Studio" at Mori, Michi, Ichiba!

I’m Eri Tanaka, the author of this blog, and while I’m a photographer who shoots products for the Circles web shop, every year during Mori, Michi, Ichiba, I set up a pop-up photo studio inside the Cycle Cloak.

The pop-up studio at the Circles anniversary party was a huge hit with the kids, and I even got some praise from the parents!

Having worked in a photo studio for nearly 15 years, I’ve felt how precious photos taken with family and friends are, but I also know just as well that it’s not a habit that naturally forms on its own.

It can feel a bit embarrassing, and trying to align everyone’s schedules—both adults' and children's—is actually quite tough. Even when you try to take them yourselves, I often hear people say that dad is the one behind the camera, so the whole family never really gets in the picture together. Come to think of it, I feel like I see fewer people than I used to asking others, "Could you please take our picture?" while they're out and about.

But since you've come all this way to enjoy Mori, Michi, Ichiba, and you’re feeling open and relaxed while drinking beer and eating delicious food, why not take the opportunity to take some photos with friends or family, even if it feels a little embarrassing?
Maybe even take one with your beloved bike you rode here!

The photos featured here were taken at last year’s Mori, Michi, Ichiba. Instead of a fixed scene, I’ll be roaming around the event venue to shoot. If you have a specific favorite spot where you’d like to be photographed, that’s fine too!

This time, I will also have framed prints available so you can display them at home.

You can book your session here, so please let me know if there's a specific time you'd like to shoot!

[Price]
5-cut digital data course: 2,000 yen (shared via Google Photos)
