The Nadaraka Cycling Club, led by former Daisy Messenger Rie, hosts the "Nadaraka Ride," a series of casual street rides that explore local towns and their history. With creative activities planned for every outing, it looks like a lot of fun, attracting everyone from serious cyclists to beginners on city bikes and shared bikes.
This Nadaraka Ride series will soon be celebrating its first anniversary, and a commemorative ride will be held with COVID-19 safety measures in mind. Why not ride your bike through the city this spring as it starts to warm up, and enjoy making new discoveries and meeting new people?
Do Your Own Basic Maintenance – Nadaraka Maintenance Workshop
The Nadaraka Cycling Club has also started offering maintenance workshops for beginners.
Just like the human body, any tool will last longer and serve you better with proper care, and you’ll grow more attached to it in the process. Unlike cars or home appliances, bicycle mechanics remain simple and consistent; once you learn them properly, it becomes a skill for life.
Under the guidance of mechanics from Circles, you will practice basic tasks like cleaning and checking your tires together.
Since the March session reached capacity very quickly, an additional session will be held in April. City bikes are welcome, too. We hope you will join us.
Please direct any sign-ups or inquiries to Nadaraka Cycling, not Circles.
