【OMM LITE / BIKE】This year, I'm bringing tacos to the race!!

OMM BIKE is finally coming up this weekend.
I am fired up!!

Following last year, this is my second time participating. In my first year, I was on a team with Inocchi from WELLDONE and Kohei-chan. Thanks to Inocchi’s map-reading skills and Kohei-chan’s riding ability, we achieved better results than I had expected, and I became completely hooked on OMM BIKE.

Last year’s team. My style was just following along completely.

However, it suddenly hit me: "I can't read maps at all, and I can't ride that well."

Even here, I was just pretending to worry along with them, but I left everything to them. lol

I realized quite early on that last year’s record was thanks to my buddies. I vowed to work on that and return the following year, but as you might expect, I haven't read a map since then...

I’ve been steadily riding with my buddy Yuya since this winter.

Even so, what’s different this year is that I’ve been riding my bike and playing around much more than last year. Thanks to tearing through the mountains almost every week with my current buddy, Yuya, I feel like I’ve built up the fitness to enjoy it even more than last time.

To each their own—that’s the beauty of OMM LITE / BIKE

Even if you don't intend to focus on winning, the results of the first day can flip a switch for the second day—or not—and it's fascinating to see how the spirit of each team differs. You might even create a rivalry, vowing not to lose to that specific team. Even when there’s little time left, the more stamina you have at that critical moment—deciding whether to go for that final checkpoint or not—the more you can enjoy it.

I’ll be serving homemade tacos at the evening party!

Besides that, the evening party is one of the joys of OMM BIKE. This time, during the first night's party, I’ll be serving my homemade tacos and a warming soup at the Circles booth. Plus, Kyon-chan, our resident heavy drinker at Circles, might be serving sake? It’s probably a strategy to sabotage our race rivals for the next day.

I'll be bringing delicious tacos, so everyone come have some!

I hope to meet new people and spend a fun time with all the outdoor enthusiasts gathering from all over the country.

The nights in Hakuba this time of year are probably cold, so we’ll want to make sure to stay warm.

I’m getting super excited just writing this.

See you in Hakuba this weekend.

PS : Early Birds will also be open as usual this weekend, entrusted to our reliable staff, so please come by.
