Hello! I'm Nobu!

I’m sure there are some of you who don’t know me yet here at Circles, so let me briefly introduce myself!
My name is Nobu (real name Nobuo Hayakawa), and I’ve been working as part of the Circles team since this April! Just like my colleague Kobataku, I’m the youngest member at Circles!
You can find a more detailed introduction in my Culture Club article, so please give it a read to find out a bit more about who I am!
By the way, I’ll be at the Circles shop for a while starting in September, so I look forward to seeing you there!

So, what's this first article about?
Well, for my first post, I’m going to report on my latest adventure!
Those of you who read my Culture Club articles might be thinking, "This guy is always hanging out..."
Let me answer that.
I am always hanging out!! I’m having the best time (lol).
I don’t think I can convey how fun something is if I’m not having fun myself! So, I’m out there living it up!! (I just want to have fun, too.)
And this time, I went out mountain biking!
My bike is a SANTA CRUZ Bronson!
I ended up buying a full-suspension bike as my very first mountain bike... I have this "bad influence" of a senior colleague you all know, Yuya Takahashi, and I ended up buying it because of his devilish whispers... (He really does suggest the best choices every single time.)

I was taught another amazing way to have fun!
This time, I went to Fujiten Resort in Yamanashi Prefecture with Yuya-san—the one who made me make that great choice—and Ryotaro-san, who many of you know from RAWLOW MOUNTAIN WORKS. They're both "bad" MTB-loving dudes.
You can see Mount Fuji from there, so just being on the chairlift was an incredibly pleasant experience!
Going downhill is surprisingly tiring, but I feel like the chairlift ride helps me recover. After going down a few times, you start to get tired, and when I was riding the lift alone, the pleasant breeze and the quiet air almost put me to sleep (lol).

But still, mountain biking is just the best, isn't it? (lol) This is only the second time I've really ridden, but both times have been incredibly fun!
This video is packed with all the best riding scenes from the trip!
By the way, the guy who falls over right at the beginning is me (lol).
I still don't really know how to pick lines, but I think I have more than enough enthusiasm and momentum!! (Though enthusiasm and momentum alone can be dangerous (lol).)
Before going into a turn or a drop, make sure you scout the landing spot or what lies beyond the dropout first! If you just dive in without looking, this is what happens...
But man, Yuya-san and Ryotaro-san are so skilled... It was such an amazing experience getting to ride and learn from these two!
I hope you’ll continue to teach me!
So, what did you think of an article about someone who spends their days fully immersed in fun?
I haven't had enough fun yet and I want to keep enjoying myself, so why don't you join me?
I’ll generally be at Culture Club, but I’ll be at Circles sometimes too. Use this mop of hair as a landmark and come say hi—I’d love to chat, so please feel free to reach out!
If you want to know about my daily rides or bike gear, feel free to send me a message on Instagram or Facebook, so follow me and get in touch! And of course, I’m always waiting for invites to go out and have fun!
