Thank you so much to everyone who came out to the MASH2015 Screening Party & Alleycat.
We really appreciate it!
Welldone's Inocchi won the Alleycat with overwhelming speed! It was great to see how it highlighted the interesting aspect of alleycats, where speed alone isn't enough to win. People who know the roads of Nagoya really are strong!!
And here is the scene of everyone fighting over the grand prize, the "MASH ARTBOOK/VIDEO," in a massive rock-paper-scissors tournament. I love that spirit! And the fact that it ended up in a girl's hands really worked out perfectly. Haha.
I'm glad so many people who had never done an alleycat before were able to participate. We even heard a few requests to make this a regular event.
Maybe I'll race next time... we'll see.
By the time the MASH 2015 screening started, the crowd had nearly doubled, spilling out of the Hedgehog.
Everyone was truly captivated during the movie. There were audible gasps and bursts of laughter; it really was a different experience than watching it on a PC screen. This might become addictive... haha.
I'm happy that so many different people got to see it, from college students to those who didn't even know fixed-gear bikes existed. Let's watch something else again soon. I'm taking requests! (lol)
We're in the thick of CX season, but let's make sure to love road bikes, fixed-gear bikes, MTBs, and even mamacharis all the same. Let's make sure we can all hang out together, whether you've been a fan for a long time or just got interested.
That's the kind of night it was. Once again, thank you so much to everyone who came!
Let's hang out again.
