Deepers Wear items are crafted under the concept of LIFE-SPEC WEAR—daily clothing born from the pursuit of the functionality (SPEC) required of garments in daily life (LIFE)—with a firm belief in "not taking the ordinary for granted."

This time, among their extensive lineup, we have received stock of their classic HIGH KICK JEANS—it is no exaggeration to say that this pair is what first connected us with them—just in time for the more comfortable weather of this season.
These jeans are based on a classic silhouette like the Levi's 501, but with the line tapered slightly from the knee down to the hem.
Above all, their most notable feature is the fabric. While it is primarily cotton, as the name "High Kick" implies, their stretchability far surpasses that of other stretch jeans. You can go about your day—whether riding a bike or just doing everyday things like standing up or sitting down—without feeling a hint of stress.
In fact, when I first rode a bike wearing these jeans, I was so surprised by their comfort that I couldn't help but say it out loud. I’ve been wearing them since last autumn, and there’s no sign of them losing their shape, such as by bagging at the knees.
The look and texture are just like 100% cotton jeans; they develop a fantastic character as you wear them in and wash them repeatedly. You also get to enjoy the true essence of jeans—the slight looseness that comes with wear, followed by the return to a crisp feel after a wash.
Furthermore, there is actually a key point to the construction of the waistband that contributes to the lack of stress.
You can see the selvedge, or "ear," at the center of the back; this is actually the hidden point that makes High Kick Jeans more comfortable than other jeans. This isn't just for aesthetics, but to give the waistband itself a degree of elasticity.
Even with stretchy fabric, there is a specific direction of stretch, and the shape is designed with that in mind. Additionally, while the waist sizes are in 2-inch increments starting from 28 inches, there are two waist buttons, allowing you to size down by 1 inch without compromising the silhouette.
And here is something I hadn't even noticed until recently: there is a D-shaped tab for "Deepers" on the back pocket, and a little detail many people are unaware of is that the inside of the pocket is chain-stitched with the letter W for "Wear." It’s that kind of playfulness—where the stitching reveals itself as you wear it in and fades appear—that is so characteristic of them. At Circles, we carry these in two colors: One-Wash and Black-Wash.

For four days from October 7th to the 10th, we will be hosting an exhibition and sale at Circles featuring the entire lineup of Deepers Wear, as well as new items for next spring/summer.

On the evening of the first day, Friday the 7th, Hedgehog Diner—the night face of Early Birds—will also be operating as a special Life-Spec pop-up!
For this night only, we will open the "Izakaya All Yours." We look forward to welcoming you with Keita’s special menu featuring drinks and hearty food. During the same period, we will also be selling the Second Life series (remade clothing with various Life-Spec elements added to vintage garments), which is not usually available in the shop, so please come along with friends and family!
