I was born a man.
Therefore, I cannot experience the pain of childbirth firsthand.
I find that a little regrettable, but I’m not confident I could endure the pain of passing a watermelon through my nose, so let’s leave it at that.
What I want to convey is that the beginning of creation is always difficult, and nurturing it is equally demanding.
Monja-kun's BLOG mentioned it too, but creating something and maintaining it comes with great hardship and risk.
However, it is precisely because you take on that responsibility that you gain the freedom that spreads out before you.
That applies not only to events like festivals but to life itself, and of course, it is the same for building and maintaining trails.
Some time has passed since we began to get involved with and help out the INABU BASE PROJECT.
During that time, we’ve made countless trips to the mountains, conducted awareness campaigns, moved forward, little by little, and finally, this day has arrived.

The day before yesterday, I participated in trail building again, deciding on lines, mowing grass, and trimming branches.
When all the participants work together, a path is formed behind us.

Yes, it may be a cliché, but the path is made behind you.
In front, there are bushes and cliffs blocking your way; as you remove them one by one, they turn into a path.
I want you to come and see the trail that was created through such a process.
And I want you to enjoy it.
I might be biased, but it’s the best.
I genuinely look forward to your participation.
And for those greedy folks who want to experience the thrill of a path being made in front of them, please also join in the trail building held this weekend.
