This year, tickets for Morimichi Ichiba even sold out for Friday. BIKE to Morimichi Ichiba was also a hit, and bicycle-only tickets sold out due to the venue’s capacity.
Trying out the festival by bike for the first time? Use a share cycle

Many people will probably come on their own bikes, but with general admission tickets sold out, some of you may be thinking, “I just want to go—even if it means getting a bicycle-only ticket!” That’s absolutely fine. We’d be happy if this helps ease congestion getting to the venue, even a little, and lets more people experience the benefits of cycling.
Can you use a share cycle? Give HELLO CYCLING a try!
As in previous years, we’ve received special support from HELLO CYCLING, one of Japan’s largest share-cycle services. They’ll provide more bicycles than usual and set up temporary rental stations.

I travel around quite a bit, so I’ve installed several share-cycle apps on my phone in advance, making it easy to rent a bike whenever I need one.
HELLO CYCLING app
iOS app
Android app
HELLO CYCLING has around 8,000 stations across Japan, so it’s handy to install the app and sign up for a free account in advance.
If you’re planning to bring your own bike and have any concerns about taking it on the train or choosing a route, feel free to get in touch through our contact form.
Temporary station locations and recommended route

You can use the regular station in front of Gamagori Station, as well as the temporary station planned for Takeshima Pier, a short walk away (it’s planned for this area). Open the HELLO CYCLING app on the day to check the map and bike availability.
You can reserve a bike starting 30 minutes before your rental begins. You can also reserve the station where you plan to return the bike starting 30 minutes in advance.
The venue at Laguna is about 5 km from Gamagori Station, so you should be able to get there in around 20 minutes. You should be fine in light rain as long as you have a raincoat.

HELLO CYCLING is looking for new station locations
Those of you using HELLO CYCLING this time will see for yourselves how being able to rent a bike and get around quickly while traveling or in town can greatly enhance the experience and convenience of your trip.
Your own bike is ideal, but if you can’t bring it, a share cycle is certainly convenient. We hope these services become more widely available and easier to use.
With that in mind, we’re looking for locations to host HELLO CYCLING stations, especially in Nagoya. All you need is space to park three bikes. There’s no installation fee, and you can earn income from providing the space. If you have a little extra room on your business premises or property, you can put it to use and generate revenue. Please inquire about setting up a station through the page below.
