While Trail Butter is marketed as an all-natural energy food, it’s a versatile product that can be used for more than just outdoor adventures—try it spread on toast or mixed into milk or soy milk for a daily treat.
Since there are so many other ways to enjoy it, for this Hedgehog Diner event, we’re featuring original recipes by Kozy—the man recognized by founder Jeff himself as the Trail Butter Chef!
On the day of the event, we’ll be presenting delicious meal ideas perfect for camping in the mountains.
The menu will be served as a one-plate special featuring TB liver pâté, TB grilled chicken, nasi goreng, twice-cooked pork (hoikoro), and peperoncino. For dessert, we’ll also have creative sweets from Aah-bit in Kamakura. Participation is by reservation only, with a fee of 3,000 yen, and you’ll receive an original beer koozie (not for sale) as a souvenir.
