Good evening. It’s Uno-chan.
On a personal note, I’m approaching about four years since I joined Circles. Am I the only one who feels like the days are really flying by lately?
Well, the Golden Week holidays are almost here—a long 10-day break that everyone seems to be talking about. Whether you’re traveling with family or just relaxing at home, I’m sure everyone has their own way of spending their time.
For our part, we will be using the 10 days from April 27th to May 6th to hold individual ride events organized by each of our staff members!
I’m a little nervous, as this is the first time I’ve personally organized a ride as an event. (Sweat)

So, without further ado, let me explain the main details of the Uno-chan Ride.
I can already hear some of you asking, "Since it's a Circles ride, are we definitely riding on gravel?" Well... sorry, but I’m going to be doing this one on-road only!
The reason is, while I do enjoy riding on unpaved roads, I’m not very experienced with them and I tend to slow down drastically when I'm on them. (Haha)
As for the route, it’s a journey of about 90km from Nagoya, heading through Seto toward Nishihazu.
We’ll meet at Circles / EarlyBirds in the morning, grab some coffee, and then head out through Nagoya city toward the Seto area.
We’ll pass through Owari-Seto Station, head south on Route 248 toward Yakusa and Sanage, then ride along the Okazaki-Asuke line by the river, heading through central Okazaki, Kota, and Gamagori, before reaching our goal: CAFE OCEAN in Nishihazu.
I chose CAFE OCEAN as the finish line not just because of the amazing view of the ocean right in front of the shop, but also because I really want to enjoy the delicious food they serve there.
Another reason is that I simply want to spend a long day on my bike. I’m not looking for speed—I want us to ride at a relaxed pace, feel the pleasant breeze, and enjoy some "saddle talk" along the way. It would be perfect if we could make it to Nishihazu by sunset!
Let’s work up an appetite from all that riding and fill our bellies with some delicious pizza! We’ll be returning to Nagoya by train (rinko), so for those of you who want to give just the one-way challenge a try, I’m looking forward to your participation!

RIDE until the pizza is gone by sunset!
・Date & Time: April 27th (Sat) Meet at 7:00 AM
・Meeting Point: Circles / EarlyBirds Breakfast
We also plan to pass by Owari-Seto Station around 8:30 AM, so you can join us mid-ride.
・Destination: CAFE OCEAN (186-36 Kasagai, Terabe-cho, Nishio-shi)
・Dismissal: Planned for around 8:00 PM at CAFE OCEAN
We’ll meet at Circles / EarlyBirds at 7:00 AM, have a morning coffee, and then head out. It’s a 90km ride from Nagoya to the suburbs, passing through Seto to Nishihazu. Let’s toast at our finish line, CAFE OCEAN, with some delicious pizza! We’ll be returning to Nagoya by train, so don’t forget your bike bag (rinko bag)!
・What to bring: Helmet, lights, and bike bag.

Uno-chan here, thinking I might just hang a SAFETY PIZZA on my saddle just in case we don't make it before the sun goes down!!
