A holiday Thursday.
Circles is closed, and many people are off work too.
For us, this is a precious day when we can go for a ride without hesitation with people we usually can’t ride with.
So, we’re planning a gravel ride for the Emperor’s Birthday on February 23rd, and we’d love for you to join us if you’re interested.
Casual Group Gravel Ride
Date & Time: Thursday, February 23 (Public Holiday)
Meeting Point: Roadside Station Seto Shinano
Meeting Time: 9:00 AM
Details: We will ride a mix of on-road and off-road terrain, starting and ending at Roadside Station Seto Shinano.
The ride will be 20–30km, with plans to finish between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM.
How to Apply: Please apply using the form below!
What to bring: Bike, helmet, clothes suitable for exercise and cycling, and a pure heart that respects traffic rules.
Contact: Yanase (@yanakku_circles)
*We are happy to report that we have received many sign-ups, so we have closed applications.
Since some participants just picked up their new bikes, this will be a very chill ride, so gravel beginners are welcome to join!
That said, you might be thinking, "Is my bike okay for this?", "I'm not confident in my stamina—is that okay?", or "Will my bike be alright?"
If you have any such questions or concerns, please send me a message on my personal Instagram account linked above.
Also, I’m sharing part of our ride route below. The actual route we ride will have a little extra added to this.

And one more thing! While the main ride ends at lunch, I plan to continue riding in the afternoon with those who still have energy.
If you're thinking, "I'm down for the afternoon ride too!", just let me know directly on the day of.
We look forward to seeing you there!
