Those two are coming to Nagoya again... GHOOOST POPUP STORE is opening!

GHOOOST, a duo of artists.

GHOOOST is a brand created by artist Mai Ohara and illustrator Rintaro Shimoyama.

Starting with the Twist Flower, which is a staple at Circles, they express their unique world in a variety of forms, including drawings, three-dimensional works, and graphics.

Looking at their work somehow makes me feel a strange sensation.
Humorous, a little quirky, yet adorable.
When you look closely, a unique world that only the two of them can create unfolds before you.

The first time I visited their studio was in 2025.
There, not only finished works but also pieces in the process of taking shape and even things whose identities were unknown were scattered everywhere, reflecting their ideas.

Usually, we only see finished works, but beyond them lie the artists' sensibilities, experiences, and daily discoveries. This visit made me realize anew how interesting such a simple thing can be.

And then, there was the POP UP STORE held this past January.
Every time Mai moved their pen before our eyes, lines appeared out of nowhere, gradually forming a single picture.
I still vividly remember the customers watching intently as they did so.

Of course, getting a piece is wonderful, but being able to witness the moment that expression is born...
I think that's quite a rare experience.

GHOOOST GOODS for Sale 🚩
First, we'll be selling original GHOOOST merchandise and items created in collaboration with SIMWORKS for the handmade bike show in Portland, Oregon, MADE 2026!
GHOOOST has long created works together with SIMWORKS that connect bicycles and art.
Although they share the common theme of bicycles, their expressions are by no means confined to the world of bicycles.
Items filled with the two's unique sensibilities will once again be lined up at Circles.

GHOOOST × TEMBEA GUNTE

TEMBEA is a word meaning "wandering." While valuing the importance of tools, they create products that blend into everyday life and make you suddenly want to go somewhere.
This GUNTE was realized through a collaboration between TEMBEA and GHOOOST. Featuring their distinctive designs, it's a highly eye-catching item that's also practical. I want this! 🔥

The design part is made into a grip, so it's perfect for outdoor scenes like camping, riding your bike, and of course, as a little extra warmth. Don't miss it!

Original Twist Flower Custom Order 🌷
Those colorful flowers blooming on bicycles, the Twist Flower.
Now a familiar sight at Circles, this time we've specially prepared a plan where you can choose your favorite colors and place an order!

You can try matching it to your own bike, or combine colors you wouldn't normally choose.
When you think about the color combinations, it's quite hard to decide, isn't it...?
But the time spent worrying about this and that is also fun. In fact, I want you to enjoy it.
Once you've decided on the colors, your Twist Flower will be made right then and there.
Please make your own one-of-a-kind flower bloom in the world.

STAMP WORKSHOP 🤲

This time, we're adding a stamp workshop!
It's a plan where you can use stamps to apply GHOOOST's artwork to your favorite items.

You can use it on items you bring, of course, or stamp it on the bandanas we'll have available at the venue.
You can just stamp it once,
combine different stamps, or even boldly stamp it all over!
If the combination changes, it should take on a completely different look.

Participation fee (per item)

• 3 stamps: 3,000 yen
• Unlimited stamping: 5,000 yen

※ The bandana fee is included in the participation fee.

LIVE PAINTING🎨

And this time too, Mai will be doing live painting!
The pen moves before your eyes, and a picture gradually takes shape.
There's a live-only fun that's different from seeing a finished work.
Having Mai's art added to your favorite item,
it might be an experience of creating a one-of-a-kind piece together with the artist, rather than simply getting something that's been painted.
What kind of picture will be born is a surprise for that moment.
