Are you familiar with "Gachiboshi"?
First and foremost, please take a look at the trailer.
It’s intense. It really stirs the heart.
The world of Keirin.
Despite the fact that we make our living with bicycles, it is a world far removed from a bicycle shop.
Several years ago, we had the experience of hosting a few Keirin racing events ourselves, and I believe that gave us a glimpse—just the tiniest edge—of how severe and high-pressure the world of Keirin truly is.
That is precisely why I have such high hopes for what this film will convey.
What’s more, the protagonist is 40 years old.
I am 42 myself, so my level of empathy is through the roof.
This film will be released at Aichi Cinemaskhole starting this coming Saturday the 23rd. To commemorate the release, a special pre-release event will be held at Circles on the 22nd, the day before.

The lead actor, Kenichi Abe, will be visiting us on the day. We might even get to hear about the highlights of the film, the struggles during filming, and perhaps some behind-the-scenes stories. His atmosphere is completely different from the trailer.
He really is a professional actor.
Furthermore, our long-time friend and current professional female Keirin racer, Pro Nagasawa, and Circles’ own Madonna mechanic and female frame builder, Akamatsu, will have a dream-team talk session. They will discuss Gachiboshi from a professional's perspective and share how they saw the film through their unique female viewpoints!
It’s the middle of the rainy season, which is a bit of a tough time for cyclists, but isn't this the perfect moment to get fired up with some cycling footage!
We look forward to seeing many of you there.
