Some time has passed, and the state of emergency has been lifted, along with Aichi Prefecture’s own state of emergency declaration.
While we operated by appointment only during the state of emergency, we have now resumed normal business hours.
That said, we will not be returning entirely to our pre-COVID operating style. We will continue our current appointment system and give priority to customers who have made a booking.
What are the benefits of an appointment-based system?
By continuing with an appointment-based system, we have realized that it is extremely effective for providing the best possible service.
While returning to our original operating style is one option, there are situations where it is difficult to provide the high level of service we strive for to every single person who visits. Sometimes, despite making the trip, customers might leave with their concerns still unresolved, or we might fail to convey everything we truly wanted to share. To ensure this doesn't happen and to allow us to have thorough, one-on-one conversations, we will continue the appointment system. If you are planning to visit us, especially for a consultation, we kindly ask that you please make a reservation beforehand.
Regardless, we are truly grateful to everyone who has visited or reached out to us daily, even amidst these circumstances. It has reaffirmed for us that the bicycle is an indispensable part of your lives, and all of our staff feel even more strongly about wanting to support that lifestyle. We are planning to introduce a reservation system in the future that will allow you to request specific staff members, so please look forward to using that as well.
We are holding an appointment-only in-store sale!
So! Although we are venturing back to the conditions we had under the state of emergency, we will be holding an EARLY SUMMER SALE exclusively in-store and by appointment only, from Friday, June 26th, to Tuesday, June 30th.
After all, the fundamental philosophy of Circles is to have actual conversations with you about how you want to live your life with a bicycle and to make suggestions tailored to your needs. Even if "With COVID" changes the way shops operate, this remains the most important thing we can do as a physical store! If you take away our customer service, there is nothing left of us!
Therefore, we want as many people as possible to know that Circles will continue to prioritize visits by appointment. Furthermore, as it is easy to imagine that it would be difficult to prevent the "Three Cs" (crowded, confined, close-contact settings) during a standard sale, this will be our first attempt at an appointment-only sale.
