BLOODY STOVE WORK SHOPPERS

August is already coming to an end. After a first half filled with rain, we finally have consistent blue skies.
Our entire Circles group took four days of summer vacation after Obon, and our staff members flew off to all corners of the country. You can see how they spent their time by checking out the hashtag #CirclesSummerVacation on Instagram, so please take a look.

Well, it’s already September next week. Now that we’ve returned from our summer break feeling refreshed, I’d like to announce an event at Hedgehog Diner, the night face of Early Birds!!

This is a follow-up to our alcohol stove workshop held last June. Once again, we are inviting Sanpo-san, the famous character of the alcohol stove world from Sanpo’s Fun Lite Gear.

An alcohol burner is a portable stove that uses ethyl or methyl alcohol as fuel. It's a nice point that fuel is easy to acquire, as it can be bought at pharmacies. It has enough heat to boil water for mountain climbing, and it's a reliable item when you want to save space and reduce your load. It is popular among those who prefer solo camping or "minimal camping" where you pack everything into a backpack.

You can even make one yourself using your favorite empty can, so why not take this opportunity to MYOG (Make Your Own Gear)? I think it’s also a compact and easy-to-use tool for bicycle touring.

And for this event, we are also inviting Domingo-san from ULTRA LUNCH, who makes "Vibaration" food, to host a tasting session.

"Vibaration" is a lightweight, compact, and portable staple food kit developed independently by ULTRA LUNCH.

It is an active food that is characterized by being "lightweight," "easy to prepare," "quick to eat," and "delicious." Just pour in boiling water and it's ready in 2 minutes.

One serving weighs 80g. It is about 12x18cm in size and is vacuum-packed. Despite having over 400 kilocalories per serving, it is a vegan food—meaning it contains no meat, fish, dairy, or eggs—making it a healthy, completely plant-based meal. I’ve had the chance to taste it before, and I was genuinely surprised by how substantial and delicious it was, completely overturning my biased image of vegan food.

Currently, there are three flavor variations: Tomato Kick, Porcini Cream, and Nori Ochazuke. We will be selling this as an active food at Circles in the future. We wanted everyone to get to know it beforehand, so we set up this opportunity.

For reservations on the 2nd (Sat), please contact earlybirds.breakfast@gmail.com. Feel free to reach out.

Above all, the two people visiting us this time are just incredibly fun, and I really want you all to meet them!
