Mori, Michi, Ichiba—commonly known as "Morimichi"—is a massive festival combining music and a market that is unique not just in Aichi, but in all of Japan. The lineup of performers is top-notch, but what truly sets it apart is its high-quality market. Seeing shops from all over the country that are doing unique work gather and compete is like watching the "Koshien of small businesses."
With delicious food, wonderful products, unusual services, and the captivating people who create them all working with full enthusiasm on what they find interesting right now, the venue is truly swirling with energy.

A giant festival that encourages arriving by bike
Mori, Michi, Ichiba is one of the few festivals that encourages visitors to arrive by bicycle. Since eight years ago, we have worked with Circles to implement bike-friendly initiatives, such as setting up a bike parking area inside the venue, a dedicated bike entrance, special bike-only admission tickets, and campsites.
The number of visitors arriving by bike increases every year, and last year, the parking area, which can hold hundreds of bikes, was nearly full.
It’s used by a wide variety of people—not just cycling enthusiasts, but also those staying at nearby lodgings who rent bikes, those arriving via station-front bike-sharing, people who park cars in distant lots and finish their journey by bike, and, of course, the locals.
By bike, you can escape all the problems typical of large events, like crowded trains and buses, expensive parking, and long queues. Plus, you’ll work up just the right amount of appetite to make the food at the stalls taste even better.
