BIKE to Hashinoshita World Music Festival 2022

A mirage-like town appearing beneath the Toyota O-Hashi bridge, designed by Kisho Kurokawa. The music and performing arts festival that unfolds there is the Hashi no Shita World Music Festival, commonly known as "Hashi no Shita." It will be held this weekend from the 2nd to the 4th (Friday–Sunday).

With music as its core and a variety of other elements coming together, it’s a festival, a town, a marketplace, and a way of life all at once, making it difficult to explain simply what kind of event it is.

It might not be for everyone, but for someone like me who loves festivals, it is one of the most incredible ones. If something resonates with you after reading the official declaration by Aiki of Turtle Island on their website or the interview article by Hajime Oishi, I highly encourage you to attend. PFM will also have a booth on Sunday.

Let's go by bicycle!

Since the area around Toyota Stadium cannot be used this year, we won't be able to provide a large-scale bicycle parking area (cycle cloak), but we will set up several bike racks inside the venue (near the PFM booth close to the sumo ring), so please feel free to use them if you are coming by bike.

Recommended route from Nagoya to Toyota

A slightly adjusted version of a recommended route a local in Toyota taught me. Please be very careful as there is one of the most brutal hills in Nagoya along the way.
