Born in Richmond, California, Bedrock Sandals fit a wide variety of lifestyles, from daily life to running, trekking, and as a companion for bike touring. We are excited to introduce the long-awaited new product from Bedrock, a brand we have been carrying since this summer: the Cairn.
The most notable feature is the unprecedented strap structure. The big difference between this and the Syncline or other models is that it is comprised of a three-strap system. Furthermore, by adopting a hook-and-loop fastener adjustment mechanism for the heel strap, it allows for a perfect fit to accommodate the various foot shapes of each wearer.
Another major feature is the 14mm sole thickness (8mm midsole / 6mm outsole). The custom-made Vibram Regolith outsole features a deep, unique tread pattern, combining high grip with the flexibility needed to ensure your stride remains natural. Additionally, the surface of the midsole uses a diamond pattern called GraniteGrip, which allows for moisture like sweat or water to escape, minimizing the surface area in contact with the skin and keeping the sandals clean. This type of sole ensures reliable cushioning and stability, making them more comfortable for long periods of wear.
The Cairn, which represents a clean break from their previous simple and minimalist designs, is a reliable product born from repeated field testing, grounded in their vision of creating the ultimate sandal.
