"Once Obon is over, it’s already New Year’s." That’s a favorite saying from a radio program I’ve been listening to lately.
Time really does fly by in the blink of an eye. This time last year, I must have been in the thick of it for MADE, and since this is my first post since last year’s event, it really feels like "Once Obon is over, it’s already Obon again."
With that in mind, let’s start mentally preparing for this year’s upcoming MADE.

MADE, the celebration of handmade bicycles held in Portland, Oregon, is returning for its second year. Our very own SimWorks will be joining the fray, bringing along our Doppo and a whole host of other things.
Be sure to check out these blogs for a look at last year’s event.

It’s a crucial show for predicting future bike trends, but it’s also an incredibly deep and sprawling event where the sheer volume of meticulously crafted bicycles on display at every booth means you could easily spend all your time there without ever reaching the end.

The handmade builders we carry at Circles will, of course, have their own booths, and there are some exciting announcements coming from folks we've been working on secret projects with, so stay tuned.
I won’t be going to the event myself this year, but our special correspondent @4ge0404 will be providing the latest updates from the ground. Get ready for some nights spent glued to Instagram. Of course, following the Circles and SimWorks USA accounts is a must as well.
With so many other sites buzzing about it too, I’m already getting restless, even with a week still to go.
Let’s all get excited and look forward to the event!!
