[Event Information] June is a festival of events! 🎡

Hi there, it's Chan-Mai!

Before we knew it, it's June. With hints of the rainy season arriving, it's the time of year when you start wanting to plan outdoor activities for the summer.
Circles this month is packed with events—it's practically an event festival with something happening every weekend!

From the environment, running, and the outdoors to cycling, helmets, and eyewear, we’ve packed this month full of projects that are extensions of our daily lives but will help broaden your horizons just a little bit.

If you find an event that catches your eye, please feel free to drop by!

6/6 Sat – 6/7 Sun
TAKAO MOUNTAIN BOOK POP UP STORE

We'll kick off the first weekend of June with the TAKAO MOUNTAIN BOOK POP UP STORE.

TAKAO MOUNTAIN BOOK is a brand that, with a background in UL hiking culture, proposes products that seamlessly connect not just mountains, but urban life, cycling, travel, and our everyday routines. For this pop-up, their popular items will be in the shop, centered around their signature Hip Bags and Messenger Bags, along with Knapsacks, Short Cruising Bags, Trip bags, and the new Utility Beret.

This time, we’re also debuting a special model that uses ULTRA 200X for the first time as a brand. It’s lightweight, durable, and waterproof, yet perfectly balanced without being overly technical—making it a perfect match for those of us who enjoy blurring the lines between riding and daily life.

Mr. Yamamoto, the designer and maker, is scheduled to be at the store during the event. It’s a rare opportunity to speak directly with the creator about material selection, the background of his designs, and how the gear feels in actual use.

A Day to Think About Daily Life and the Environment

June is World Environment Month. Of course, we all know it’s important, but it’s quite difficult to keep thinking about the environment in the middle of our busy everyday lives, isn't it?

But what do you do with clothes you no longer wear? Repairing your favorite gear so you can wear it again. Choosing to ride a bike to get around. There are surely many small entry points to thinking about the environment right within our familiar daily lives.

For this event, Circles is inviting Patagonia and BRING to host "A Day to Think About Daily Life and the Environment." Through a Patagonia repair workshop and the clothing recycling initiatives at BRING, these two days are for thinking about the importance of cherishing our belongings, imagining where things go after we let them go, and considering the connection between our own lives and the environment.

Since it’s a great opportunity, why not take a moment to pause? Please come by with that casual mindset.

6/20 Sat – 6/21 Sun
milestone ✖️ CHAORAS POP UP STORE

In the second half of June, we’ll be hosting a POP UP STORE for milestone and CHAORAS.

milestone is an outdoor brand based in Osaka. They mainly focus on headlamps, and are known for their dedication not just to strong white light, but to "warm-toned" light that is easy on the eyes and comfortable to use in nature. They’re a reliable companion for night runs, camping, hiking, and cycling trips.

And CHAORAS is a brand that proposes the traditional Japanese "tenugui" (towel) as an item that’s easy to use in the outdoors. Light, compact, and quick-drying—they’re truly versatile for wiping away sweat, sun protection, as headbands, and so much more.

Be sure to come check out these two brands that you’ll want to take along to the mountains, the city, and on your rides.

6/27 Sat – 6/28 Sun
POC POP UP STORE

The last weekend of June will feature the POC POP UP STORE.

POC is a brand that develops helmets, eyewear, and apparel for cycling and snow sports. They officially state their mission as "to protect lives and reduce the impact of accidents for athletes and anyone who aspires to be one," and they are known for products that combine safety with design. Many of our Circles staff are loyal users🔥

Helmets and eyewear aren't just about how they look; fit, field of vision, and a sense of security are vital. By actually picking them up, trying them on, and testing them, you’ll be able to see what works best for you.

From road and gravel riding to city commuting, be sure to check out items to make your future rides more comfortable and safe!

We look forward to seeing you at Circles in June too🌏

So, Circles is packed with events almost every weekend this June.

Whether it's checking out mountain or travel gear, taking a pause to think about daily life and the environment, choosing lights essential for runs and rides, picking up more tenugui than you can ever have enough of, or trying out helmets and eyewear for safer rides ahead.

Each event is more than just "looking at stuff"—it’s a time that should help broaden how you play and how you live your life.

Feel free to come specifically for an event that catches your interest.
Feel free to stop by while you're out for a ride.
If you just think it sounds interesting and want to peek in, that’s more than welcome too.

Aiming for a break in the rainy season, or as a side trip on a rainy day.
We look forward to seeing everyone at Circles in June!
