On Thursday, the snow that started falling in Nagoya from the previous day didn't accumulate as much as I expected, but with a faint glimmer of hope, I pedaled on as usual.
As I headed toward the mountain pass, the surroundings turned into a white landscape. My usual gravel road was untouched by anyone else, covered in fresh snow. Although it was past 12:00 PM, the thermometer on the way read 0 degrees Celsius.
I pulled out these shoes as if to say "a day like this is perfect," and they were incredibly reassuring, having been waiting in anticipation for the snow to fall.
The LAKE shoes I introduced before—specifically the MX200—only have one size remaining, but they are surely the best tool for cyclists in snowy regions. We may still be able to special order them depending on the size, so please feel free to contact us if you are interested.
Even where it had accumulated the most, it was only about 10cm, but that was more than enough to have a great time. You might wonder why I'd go out on such a cold day, but there are some sights you can only encounter on days like this.
The temptation of your futon is hard to resist, but why not head out for a ride?
We are also holding a WINTER ARCHIVE SALE at the shop, so please stop by before what you’re looking for sells out!
