On a holiday shortly before our 13th anniversary party, we held a potluck with many of our friends, an idea brought to us by Riebow from SimWorks USA who was visiting from the States. The weather was far from ideal, but we took a leisurely ride from Circles, picking up supplies along the way as we headed toward our destination: Shonai Ryokuchi Park.
Once there, we spent a relaxing and fulfilling time doing whatever we liked—eating what everyone brought, having a bonfire, playing frisbee, and practicing getting on and off our cyclocross bikes. As for me, I proudly served everyone the curry my wife had prepared, acting as if I had made it myself. It was incredibly well-received, and I was so happy to see everyone enjoying it.
By the way, I think everyone struggles with carrying food like the curry we had—pots, containers, and lunch boxes require a flat, stable base and a certain amount of surface area. This isn’t limited to just this one occasion; the problem of how to carry luggage while cycling is something that is always on our minds.
When you think about it, it’s obvious that having a basket is convenient, and having a bag that fits it perfectly makes it even more useful, expanding the possibilities of your bike. It was from this perspective of everyday cycling that we thought it would be great to have a user-friendly bag, and that is how the WB Loader was born.
It made its debut two years ago, but since then we have received many requests from all of you, and now with a completely refreshed color lineup, it is finally ready for its re-release.
A tote bag designed to fit WALD baskets
The WB Loader is a tote bag that fits perfectly into the world-famous WALD 137 basket. Made from CORDURA® nylon, which offers an excellent balance of ease of use and durability, the bag is padded throughout to protect your items from minor impacts.
Attached with Velcro
It attaches to the basket easily using the included Velcro straps, allowing you to quickly and easily switch between riding and walking.
Long handles for easy carrying
The handles are designed to be long enough so that even when the bag is loaded and heavy, you can carry it comfortably over your shoulder.
Ample capacity and versatile lash tabs
The roll-top closure allows you to adjust the volume based on what you are carrying.
Furthermore, the lash tabs (commonly called "pig snouts") on both sides allow you to use straps like our RAL Pack it Right Strap to secure items like sleeping pads or blankets. It’s a bag that invites users to get creative with how they use it.
Naturally, it’s a great match for touring bikes equipped with the WALD baskets that have become standard over the last few years.

With further refinements by Inocchi and ourselves, it has been reborn as the perfect bag—just right, in every sense of the word.
