My hairdresser of about 10 years has retired to take over their family’s hair salon.
The location is in Tsu City, Mie Prefecture, about 80km away from Nagoya.
I decided to carry out a little plan to ride there on my bike and take the train back, enjoying a relaxed return trip.
Taking a slight detour and riding on roads I’ve never been on before is exciting.
It was hot that day, the perfect temperature for short sleeves and shorts.
I even got a bit of a tan.
The season where short sleeves finally come into their own is here.
With jerseys arriving one after another, "TwinSix," known every season for its pop-style jerseys and T-shirts, is definitely a brand to watch.
Of course, we have an abundance of attractive items again this season.
I’ll introduce them to you along with my fresh new haircut!
“TwinSix” The United Crushers Jersey ¥11,000 (excl. tax)
“TwinSix” Black Bib Shorts ¥13,000 (excl. tax)
These are the graphic cycling jerseys that form the core of the TwinSix lineup.
There are 18 models released this season.
Their affordable price, combined with sufficient functionality as a cycling jersey and their pop designs, has won them support from a wide range of users.
“TwinSix” The Standard Jersey ¥15,000 (excl. tax)
“TwinSix” Standard Bib Shorts ¥17,000 (excl. tax)
For these solid-colored cycling jerseys, which are the polar opposite of the typical TwinSix "pop" style, I want you to pay attention to the fabric.
They use higher-quality fabric than the regular lineup, offering better moisture absorption, quick-drying properties, and comfort.
They are simple and easy to match, making them perfect for casual rides as well.
Also, the bib shorts use a high-quality pad and forgo silicone grippers, ensuring a comfortable ride.
“TwinSix” Men’s T-Shirt ¥3,300 (excl. tax)
“TwinSix” Three Quarters Pants ¥14,000 (excl. tax)
“TwinSix” Two Quarters Short ¥16,300 (excl. tax)
What I look forward to every season is the TwinSix T-shirt.
The comfortable American Apparel body paired with comical printed designs is irresistible.
Also, a short version of the well-regarded Three Quarters Pants has arrived.
Made with lightweight, highly stretchy fabric, they are designed to be functional and easy to move in.
Depending on the design, we are already starting to run out of some sizes.
Be sure to check them out soon.
And I plan to ride to Tsu City for another haircut in three months.
I’ve had an undercut for a long time, but lately, I’ve been thinking about just shaving it all off.
